Veterans Talking to Veterans Annual Event

Stronger Together Summit 2026  @National Museum of Military Vehicles Returns July 31 - August 2, 2026

Stronger Together Summit 2026:  brings veterans, active duty, families, coaches, and community partners together for a three-day gathering focused on connection, resilience, and whole-person health. This annual Veterans Talking to Veterans event blends movement, education, food security awareness, and shared experiences to create space for learning, reflection, and celebration.

The weekend begins on Friday with vendor setup and a private tour of the National Museum of Military Vehicles, followed by time dedicated to VTTV coach team building and graduation practice. The evening brings everyone together over dinner, followed by a community movie and guided discussion designed to spark conversation and connection.

Saturday is the heart of the event, with exhibitions open throughout the day and a full schedule of activities centered on health and wellbeing. Participants can observe or compete in the obstacle competition and connect with exhibitors offering resources that support veterans and their families. The afternoon culminates in a graduation ceremony honoring VTTV coaches, along with guest speakers who reflect on service, growth, and community impact. The evening closes with a family-style dinner hosted by the Robert Irvine Foundation, where participants gather at communal tables and use story cards to prompt meaningful conversations around food, health, and shared experiences.

Sunday offers a reflective close to the weekend, beginning with a morning service followed by a pancake breakfast and storytelling session. This final gathering reinforces the importance of nourishment, connection, and shared stories as foundations for long-term wellbeing.

Together, the weekend reflects VTTV’s commitment to building strong communities by supporting health, promoting access to food, and creating spaces where veterans and their families can connect, learn, and move forward together.

Gracious Host: National Museum of Military Vehicles

The National Museum of Military Vehicles, located in Dubois, Wyoming, provided the perfect setting for the event. It boasted the largest collection of U.S. military rolling vehicles outside of the armed forces, with a mission to honor the service and sacrifice of Veterans and their families. Situated amidst the scenic beauty of the Wind River Valley, Dubois retained the authentic feel of the wild frontier, making it a charming and fitting host for the event.
